Empowerly’s Startup Internship Program (SIP) is designed to give high school students the flexible opportunity to explore careers, develop professional skills, and participate in impactful work at global-centric companies. With internships available in the fall, spring, and summer months, and spanning a wide range of roles from the technical to non-technical, we’re thrilled to offer something for all students looking to supercharge their experiences.

What is the Startup Internship Program?
Unlike traditional internships at larger corporations, startup internships provide students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at a startup company that is typically more dynamic and fast-paced, exposing them to a larger scope of the business. This could include technical roles in product development or operations, or non-technical roles in marketing or sales, and everything in-between. Startup internships are a great opportunity to broaden professional skills while making tangible, meaningful contributions in a high-growth environment.
Is it too early or too late to get an internship?
Absolutely not! Our virtual Startup Internship Program gives high school students students ample opportunities to explore different career paths in a growth-oriented setting. Empowerly’s internship program is a great way to gain industry experience while differentiating yourself from your peers.
Please note, internships are not offered on a rolling bases and there are specific start and end dates to each program time frame. Check with your enrollment specialist to learn more.

The Empowerly team has partnered with several startup companies who are looking for student interns. Our team will help you prep your resume, practice for interviews, and guide your search based on what’s available. Just like any job interview, it’s ultimately up to you to nail the interview to be selected for an internship.
