For students who really want a structured summer, an organized program makes sense. However, as it’s already June of 2021, many competitive deadlines have already passed. Nonetheless, we’ve done some legwork and uncovered applications that you can still submit. So, let’s get cracking!

Summer Program Descriptions

Columbia University: Programs for High School Students

While some programs are completely virtual, while others are on-site with COVID precautions. Check out the available programs and check the upcoming deadlines. More than a few are still accepting students now.

Cornell’s School of Continuing Education: Pre-college Studies

Cornell University, another top-notch New York-based school, is offering summer programs for high school students. For those of you who have yet to apply, check out the third session for a later deadline you can still meet! On the website, browse course options for all the offerings available during this coming summer and choose the one that sounds right for you.

The Savannah College for Art and Design: Pre-college Programs

SCAD calls itself the University for Creative Careers; so for those of you interested in the arts, this could be a good fit. Check out the handful of programs for high school students on their website. Note that all programs are virtual, so even those of you who are distant from the campus itself have a chance to participate in the summer of 2021.
