Denard is one of Empowlery’s lead counselors. He has worked as an admissions officer at Elon University and Saint Joseph's University for over a decade. He then transitioned to college counseling directing a Duke University summer program and two independent schools. Denard earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Information Systems from Elon University.

Tony Hoong is the Founder and CEO of The CPA Dude, a San Francisco Bay Area–based tax strategy firm focused on helping professionals and business owners keep more of what they earn through proactive planning. Before launching the firm, he built extensive experience at Big Four accounting firms advising top-tier companies. Tony earned his degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Minnesota’s business school and is a licensed CPA specializing in tax strategy and planning.
