Susan is an Empowerly Premium Counselor who was a senior UC Berkeley admissions officer for over 20 years and a manager of the freshman review process. Susan has helped hundreds of students over her 30 years of experience working with college applicants, assisting with major selection, application and essay development. Her experience gives her unique insight and understanding of what it takes to craft a competitive application and write compelling essays. Her students have been accepted to UCLA, USC, Columbia, NYU, UMich, UChicago, Northwestern, Duke, Emory, UPenn and more.

Brooke is an experienced college admissions counselor who graduated with Honors from Stanford, where she studied Human Biology and Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity. She is currently pursuing her MD at UCSF's School of Medicine. Brooke has been a college counselor for 7 years, helping over 100 students in a variety of interest areas from biology to business and humanities. She is also experienced with science fairs and has helped many students find research opportunities and edit science fair posters. In high school, she conducted research in the SIMR program at Stanford and was a semi-finalist in the Regeneron Science Talent Search.
