Intro Guide to US College Admissions

Sarah is a UC Berkeley alum and an experienced college counselor specializing in extracurricular planning, application positioning, and essay brainstorming & revision. Since 2016 she has worked with over 500 students from all academic interests, from STEM and pre-med to Business and Film Studies. Over 90% of her students have been accepted to undergraduate and graduate programs at Top 60 US & UK universities, including Brown, Boston University, Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, Duke, John Hopkins University, Northwestern, NYU, Oxford, UC Berkeley, UChigago, UCLA, UMichigan-Ann Arbor, UPenn, USC, and more.

Gelyna studied Science, Technology & Society with a concentration in Life Sciences & Biotechnology at Stanford. She also holds a Notation in Science Communication. She is an experienced college counselor who has helped students gain admission to Stanford, Ivy League universities, and UCs. She is a former Stanford admissions alumni interviewer. Her specialties are interview preparation, essay editing, and essay topic brainstorming.
