How it Works

The Empowerly Score® is a data-backed college admissions calculator that provides a holistic analysis of your student applicant profile

1. Academics​

This factors in elements such as GPA, standardized test scores, the number of AP or advanced level courses taken, and how far along you are in your high school journey. You’ll be asked to indicate your top-choice tier of colleges for calibration to understand likelihood of admittance.

2. Extracurriculars

Think of extracurricular activities as your proven track record for how you’ve pursued your academic interests. Top colleges want more than just a straight-A student. They want to see all the ways you’ve excelled in the world outside the classroom.

3. Written essays

Essays are a key staple of the college application process, with competitive programs sometimes requiring several supplemental essays. This is an opportunity for you to share what makes you unique, what your life experiences have been, and what you have to offer their program.
