About this Webinar
Junior year is the last year a student can actually build their application since senior year can only describe it. Join Brennan, a former UC Berkeley admissions officer and Stanford reader, for a practical breakdown of exactly what needs to happen this year to walk into senior fall ready instead of scrambling. You'll learn how to sequence testing so it's finished before applications open, how to turn activities from involvement into real leadership, and which academic decisions actually move the needle with a reader. Brennan will also cover the timing mistakes that quietly cost students options they don't find out about until it's too late to fix them. Whether your student is just starting junior year or already behind, this session gives you a clear plan instead of a checklist off the internet.
In this webinar, you'll learn:
- The Clock That Actually Matters: Senior fall is for describing, not building. Brennan breaks down what has to be finished by the end of junior year to make that possible.
- Testing Done Early Buys Freedom: Students who finish testing by junior spring get a senior fall built around essays and applications — not test prep.
- Leadership Isn't a Title: Readers score initiative and results, not the word on a name badge. Learn what actually counts as leadership in a reader's eyes.
